New Beginnings Birth offers quality TENS machines for hire or sale.
Labour TENS can assist you during labour, by providing effective and long-lasting pain relief. It's also very effective in the postpartum period, helping with the toning and strengthening of the pelvic floor.
Hire periods are for 6 weeks and include batteries and a new set of electrodes.
You will be given a return satchel for it to be posted back two weeks after your estimated due date.
If you have not birthed by 42 weeks (it's more common than you think) or if you would like to use it to strengthen your pelvic floor (from six weeks postpartum) extended hire is available.
When Should I Hire A TENS Machine For Labour?
It's recommended to book a TENS machine at least two months before your estimated due date. Your TENS machine will be sent to you four weeks before your estimated due date.
If you're closer than 4 weeks from your estimated due date, we'll get your TENS machine to you ASAP.
How Much Does TENS Machine Hire Cost?
TENS machine hire starts at $90 for a minimum of six weeks of hire. Batteries and electrodes and return postage are included.
If you wish to use the TENS Machine for toning and strengthening the pelvic floor, a vaginal probe attachment is an extra $40.
If you wish to extend your TENS machine hire, the cost will be calculated from your expected return date and will be charged at $11 per week.
A refundable $100 security deposit is payable.

Then you may be fully or partially covered for the hire and/or purchase of the TENS Unit. Be sure to check the level of cover you have. TENS units are often under “medical devices/equipment”. A full receipt is provided to you for you to claim with your private health insurer.
