Hire the multi-award-winning Elle TENS machine.

Elle TENS machine hire includes:

• Elle TENS device
• Pack of 4 self-adhesive maternity rectangle electrodes (40mm x 100mm)
• 2 x lead wires
• 2 x AA batteries and two spare
• Carrying pouch
• Easy-release neck cord
• Instruction manual
• Quick start guide
• Electrode placement chart
• Standard return postage

Elle TENS machine hire is for six weeks from the day you select in the booking calendar. The item needs to be received back at New Beginnings Birth on the day your hire expires to avoid additional hire fees.

Additional hire (calculated from your expected return date) is $11 per week.

Private Health Insurance Rebates

If you have private health insurance, you may be fully or partially covered for the rental of your TENS machine.  Be sure to check the level of cover you have.  TENS units are often under “medical devices/equipment”.  A full receipt is provided to you for you to claim with your private health insurer.

Never use a TENS machine under the following circumstances, without talking to a midwife or doctor first:

• Before you go into labour.
• When you’re in a shower, bath, or birth pool.
• If you have broken skin or a healing scar where you want to place the pads.
• If you have a cardiac pacemaker or a heart rhythm problem.
• If you have pain that you don’t think is labour pain. See your doctor or midwife if this is the case.

Elle TENS machine hire includes standard return postage.  Express postage available at an additional cost.  Local pick up within Canberra maybe available on arrangement.
